E-6-1 pictured above is heavy duty all wheel drive, diesel powered with automatic transmission and has a 950 gallon water tank. It utilizing a Compressed Air Foam (CAFs) system. This truck has approximately 200 cubic feet of storage space for fire fighting, emergency medical, and rescue equipment. The truck seat 5 fire fighters in an enclosed cab.E-6-1 is equipped with a front Turret (water cannon) that can be deployed from inside the cab. The Servo controlled Turret is a power actuated foam/water turret mounted on the vehicle's bumper. All Turret functions are controlled by the Joystick which is located inside the cab. The Turret is capable of discharging water or CAF solution at flow rates up to 1200 GPM. A Microprocessor based technology automatically positions the turret to match the operator’s hand movements.

Rescue trucks respond to a range of emergencies from a child locked in a vehicle, carbon monoxide alarms, vehicle accidents, building collapse and structure fires. Rescue trucks carry the same medical equipment as our fire engines and a large variety of rescue equipment including hydraulic rescue tools. They are also equipped with compressed air, food and drinking water.
